Julian brings 23 plus years of diverse experience to the role Operations Director. He started his career in the US Military (Army). His military career as a Chemical Specialist NBC Non-Commission Officer, was followed by a productive career in criminal justice. During this portion he served as a led in an impactful drug and alcohol program that gave residents a 120-shock treatment for drug and alcohol offenses. As a leader in the program the therapeutic community offered the founder a level of rehabilitation training and
counseling experience. He continued his diverse path with a 15-year career in pharmaceutical manufacturing he obtained his Six Sigma Green Belt, ASQ certifications in Auditing and studied Leadership and Organizational Behavior at St. Louis University with
minors in project management and industrial psychology.

Ray is the Real Estate Development Director of 554 Group, LLC. Directing the company's land development and business pursuits; Ray brings over 19 years of design professional experience being responsible for over $1.5 billion of projects and approximately 25 million square feet around the United States.

Serving as a Licensed Architect his background includes all phases of land development (land acquisition, site selection, site layout, zoning, entitlements), architectural design, permitting, and construction administration in both public and private sectors; including government facilities, retail, hospitality, multifamily residential, mixed-use, office, restaurant, and parking garage structures. Providing his expertise from low-rise to high-rise projects, Ray is highly knowledgeable in the application of zoning / building codes, life safety requirements, and ADA standards. His insightful approach helps us provide our clients with designs that are safe, accessible, sustainable, and environmentally responsible; representing the communities we serve with respect and integrity.
Ray is licensed in several states throughout the US and is a LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional). Obtaining his undergraduate degree in Architecture and masters degree in Community Development from Kansas State University. Ray is a member of AIA (American Institute of Architects) and NOMA (National Organization for Minority Architects). He enjoys spending time with his family, loves sports, loves officiating sports, and is passionate about community service.
